Hey everyone,

We've just updated the site with a bunch of bug fixes, tweaks, optimizations and new features. The full list of changes are:

Optimized and improved the global player/tribe search to be much faster.
Updated frontend code to validate to XHTML standards in most cases.
Removed world minibuttons and replaced with text to improve loading time.
Added global announcement feature.
Changed paging system on conquers list to only show 20 pages as direct links and to use a select box for the rest of the pages.
Added a 'filter by tribe' feature to the player profile conquer list.
Changed autocomplete for players/tribes to include their points.
Added new header design.
Greatly optimized conquers list for tribes/players - searches and browsing of conquers should be much faster now.
Added tooltips for some input fields (see world index - player/tribe/village search box).
Changed village search to allow entry of coordinates.
Fixed a bug where the latest ennoblements page and the village ennoblements page would show the current player's tribe rather than their tribe at the time of the ennoblement.
Added a link to the tribe profile page to allow you to see a list of all the tribe's players with the OD scores/rank (see 'OD rankings' link).
Added the following filter options for the latest ennoblements page: min points, max points, tribe.
Fixed a bug where tribe tags with foreign characters in them wouldn't work on the war stats tool.
Upgraded prototype library to the latest version (should fix misc errors with old browsers).
Other misc optimizations to improve website speed.

Things to note:

The signature images are now auto updated at 5:30AM.
The global player/tribe search index is updated twice a day at 3:30AM and 3:30PM.

I agree with you mate, i WANT to see battles, i want to watch them fighting i think that it would be awesome. I would really like that feature, and i would also like to see more graphics in the game. So i am not against you i completely agree with you. I like your idea about controling your troops in battle or hitting an auto fighting button, i think that is a really cool idea. So don't start saying stupid things.

What did i say that gave you the idea that i was a "JEW" or that i was against you in some way???

I wanted to make another suggestion that I forgot before. When you call up a player's stats you can export their villages in BB-codes... SUPER HELPFUL, BUT, it would be really nice if there was an option to output the village points behind the village in plain text.

Still Thank you for backing me up though.It should be a setting,but it would be better if they had ALL the worlds down for 2-4 hours and add the stuff in,so we dont have to go to a new world to get it,so we can get it in all worlds.And it doesn't matter haw good your computer is,it matters about your internet for you who didn't know.

We'll ok maybe you should be able to make it a setting. For everyone who wants better graphics ( which is alot of people ) then they will be able to switch the setting on. And for people like you who don't want better graphics then you can turn the setting off.

Do you know what, i think who ever wrote the message above is full of CRAP!!!! More graphics make the game more interesting and fun to play. This game can become a bit dull at times and more graphics will enhance the game and make it more enjoyable.

I really like playing this game, but if there were more graphics i think that this game would attarck more people to join this game, in fact i am almost certaint that with more graphics this game would attract more & more new players.

So to be honest whoever wrote the message above needs to get thier head out of the bum and think about the big picture. If you want to play an offline game instead of this game then go ahead. But don't start saying stupid things, because although internet games are meant to be simple they are also meant to be fun, and more graphics will make it more fun.

So bottom line, whoever wrote the above message is an complete idiot, and they need to drop on their head!!!!

There was talk here about extending the time to cancel attacks. I wouldn't mind seeing the ability to cancel be variable. Something like having a messenger unit that travels at 2x scout speed. That way if you are making a long distance attack, the messenger has longer to travel to get you the message. Canceling wouldn't immediately turn the troops around, the messenger would have to catch them to tell them to turn around.

If you wanted to complicate things even furthor you can add luck to the messenger, good luck and he gets there to cancel the attack faster, bad luck and his horse throws a shoe and doesn't arrive in time to cancel the attacks.

It would be much better to be able to cancel your attack on a village much later, you should be able to cancel the attack up until the last minute before the attack.

I think that it is a bit stupid not being able to cancel attacks, so i think that is would be a good new feature.

I agree totally with a comment made that - "I still think that we should have heaps more graphics of people working in the clay pit, timber camp & iron mine. And also seeing people build the building you are upgrading instead of just cutting a piece of wood next to the Headquarters".

I think that that is a great idea.

the battles could be longer and you could have troops come and reinforce your troops that are already fighting. and you could have your tribe mass a single army at a certain village and let someone be appointed as "general" of the troops and control them.

If it is a game thing how about

Setting your troops up to 3 orders - so if they go farming and the trip is wasted they can move to another target or come home if full up!

A unit that will allow you to send remote orders. eg if my support is 100hrs away and I need to support the village right next door - I have a 200hr round trip on my hands, so if I could have a messenger unit to send (or even a scout) it would make things easier (and dare I say more lifelike!?!?)

It would be the best feature, and it would make the game so much more interesting.

Like a person said before - "it doesn't katter if the visable battle only lasts for 20 seconds, and if you don't wat the feature then you could turn it off with a button".

It is so true. I think heaps of people would like the game more if there was more graphics in this game.

I also think that you should be able to see the "people" who mine, cut down trees & who gather clay. You should be able to see them taking the resources from the "Mine" ( for example ) and taking the iron to the warehouse and then going back and getting more and so on.

Also when you press the upgrade button for ANY building, instead of just seeing two people sawing a piece of wood you should see at least 1 or 2 people at the actual building you are upgrading working on it. Like one of them on the roof with a hammer and one on the ground cutting the wood or something ( for example ).

Even these small changes on this game would make it heaps more interesting and enjoyable to play.

I am attacking my nearest village (2 fields away) frequently, so know the distance calculator isnt working. it calculates the field distance correctly but gives the times wrong. For example it takes my sword units, 29minutes 20 seconds to get there, and the same to return. the distance planner however predicts a one way trip will take 44 minutes!

What is the point in playing when the aggressive tribes come along a declare war within 1 month of getting started? Bugger those loser tribes anyway, they should have some sort of lock placed on them preventing them from attacking all but Barbarian villages for the 1st 3 months or something. And a slower growth rate than everyone else. Let THEM be nobled once in a while.

Why do people have to start on the rim when they are nobled. I haven't been but i wouldn't want to be sent way out there. Couldn't we start fresh in a new village atleast close to where i/anyone nobled started.

Can you fix the mailing list while you on a spree? It always bugs out so when you try to change continent it wont load then when I refresh it still wont do anything I have to hop over to IE to switch continents then try again on FF after IE stops working.

As title says. Now, if you filter the latest nobled villages by K, you are forced to pick a tribe in the filters. I wanna see the latest villages nobled in a K, regarless on the tribes tho. Like we had before :) Thanks.
